ACCLAIMED saxophonist, writer and bandleader Dale Barlow had cause for a dual celebration at this year's 17th Annual Entertainment MO Awards in Sydney.

POPPED into Nerang RSL on the Qld Gold Coast today and who should be performing but multi-award winning country and yodelling great Wayne Horsburgh and the Howie Brothers.

Dee, who is affectionately known as the Silver Baron, because of his silver hair and distinguished looks, has earned himself another title it seems - as Prince of the Ladies Day Shows.

DON LANE, who co-founded the Australian Entertainment `MO' Awards 23 years ago with entertainment greats such as Johnny O'Keefe, made a welcome return this year to host the major event.
A multi-award winner, Don was thrilled to take the stage and host the major entertainment indujstry awards at the Sydney Entertainment Centre recently. A total of 38 awards were announced including Australian Ambassadors Tap Dogs, Performers of the Year Human Nature and John Campbell Fellowship Award winner Toni Stevens.
