32nd Gold Coast Eisteddfod
STUDENTS at the Gold Coast’s A.B. Paterson College proved teamwork can reap great rewards when they excelled at this year’s Gold Coast Eisteddfod as part of the Schools Choirs section.

The College’s Junior School choirs also took out the Primary School Aggregate Trophy at the Eisteddfod.
The prep choir of enthusiastic 5-year-olds won third place in the Novelty section, singing `Wheels in the Bus’; The Year 1 choir came second in the Novelty section with their performance of `In The Dark’, written by Candace Kruger and Rachel Newcombe; and Year 2 students, who were split into two groups due to its extensive size of 92 members, saw both groups take the top placings of first and second.… Members read the rest!

YOUNG performers took over the Nerang Bicentennial Hall once again today for what is shaping up to be one of the best showcases for Queensland’s potential stars of the future.

Boy soprano Jack Watson placed 1st at his first eisteddfod.

The children, ranging from tiny tots through to teenagers, were dressed in their finest costumes to display their talents and vie for a top placing in their respective heats as part of the First Annual Star Bound Eisteddfod.
