YESTERDAY afternoon I checked in to read the latest notifications on Facebook.
A post from entertainment industry stalwart Brian Fogarty caught my eye. Something about my dear friend Greg Doolan. `Oh what's Greg up to,' I thought inquisitively. Then I read it:
"Another shock! Too young and a great talent -- Greg Doolan (Wickety Wak) sadly passed away this afternoon @ only 63 yrs of age."

“Just thinking about him chokes me up,” said Greg as he struggled to gain composure.
“Only 10 days before his death, we were singing together on stage at Twin Towns Services Club, and despite being ill for quite a while and in a wheelchair he performed Louis Armstrong’s `What a Wonderful World’ with faultless precision … a true professional to the end.”
Greg said it was an impromptu performance that would be long remembered.
