IF you want to become a recording artist or to pursue a career in the entertainment industry take time to learn how to read music. This is the advice of long time entertainer and former Delltones lead singer, Nevin McLean.

“Being able to read music, even just the basics, gives you the ability to understand it, and helps you to develop intonation and timing and to eventually grow as a performer,” said Nevin, who has been performing since he was encouraged into the industry in his late teens by veteran entertainer Johnny O’Connor (known in the 60s as Australia’s Bing Crosby).
