THE 5-day country NSW tour was extremely successful and we played to sold out venues. The orchestra under the direction of John Martin was superb. MARINA Prior, David Hobson and Dee Donavan will embark on a 5-day Country NSW tour on Thursday, May 16.
The tour schedule will see this talented trio of performers playing at Regional Centres throughout the state, backed by a 9 piece orchestra.
"It's a gig we are looking forward to," said master of ceremonies Dee Donavan. "The tour will include two nights in Dubbo and then onto Bathurst and Orange."

DEE Donavan was the envy of cast and crew involved in the making of the movie Moulin Rouge, so much so that he was offered $50 to trade places.
“It was all a bit of fun really,” said the debonaire Sydney-based actor. “Johnny Lockwood and I were playing the role of stage door Johnnies and – being cast as a major flirt with all the girls in the movie I got the job of slapping Nicole Kidman’s bottom.”

ENTERTAINERS Dee Donavan, Sylvia Raye, Lorrae Desmond, Dinah Lee, Jacki De Paul, Lynne Fletcher and Little Patti have given Australian performers who entertained the troops in war zones a special place in Sydney’s annual April 25 Anzac Day march.
Until seven years ago, performers who travelled to the war zones in Korea, Malaya, Vietnam, Iraq, East Timor, Afghanistan, Solomon Islands, and the United Nations to bolster the spirits of our fighting diggers were relegated to finding a spot with one of the battalions if they wanted to march – never having a `unit’ of their own in which they could all march as a combined `force’.

THE entertainment industry's `Silver Baron' - alias Dee Donavan - is enjoying quite a bit of attention from Australia's female population, according to a Sydney Morning Herald columnist.
Dee, who is affectionately known as the Silver Baron, because of his silver hair and distinguished looks, has earned himself another title it seems - as Prince of the Ladies Day Shows.
