Max Thorburn loses fight with cancer

AFTER a battle with cancer that lasted three years, popular radio host and councillor Max Thorburn has died, aged 72.
Well known to many members of the entertainment industry Max was the founder of Mildura community radio station Hot FM.
He was on the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia's Community Radio Network Advisory Committee and also founded the Mildura Country Music Festival.… Members read the rest!

JUST couldn’t resist the opportunity to see one of Australia’s most enduring and loved rock’n’rollers in action at Twin Towns Services Club in Tweed Heads recently.
