Roland rocks on home with new bride (1996)

ROCK and roll legend, Roland Storm, will return from South Africa to Australia in April for a hectic tour. Joining Roland on his trip will be his new wife, Cheryl. The couple were married in South Africa on December 2, 1995.

Roland is eager to return to his native Australia. "We have plans to relocate to Brisbane in mid 1997," said Roland, who lives in Johannesburg. Cheryl runs a packaging company in South Africa while her new husband is in demand on the cabaret circuit. However, Roland admits to being homesick. "I'm home in Oz most school holidays to see my children but it's not the same as being there all the time," he said. "I have a daughter here, Simonne, who is 18, and an adopted daughter, Candice, who is now 21, so hopefully we will all be one big happy family in paradise, Queensland, in 1997."

Roland's tour begins at Bankstown RSL on April 10 and ends on May 19 at Grandview Bowling Club. He is at Muswellbrook RSL on Mother's Day. Roland's next trip to Oz will be September 18 to October 27 inclusive.
