JANE Scali and Paul Martell make a formidable team within the entertainment industry to which they have devoted so much of their lives. Their consistent success at the prestigious Australian Entertainment `MO' Awards reflects not only their talent but also the high regard in which they are held by their industry peers.

In last year's awards, Jane was voted Female Variety Vocal Performer and husband Paul won a `MO' for Comedy Performer of the Year. Both have been nominated in their individual categories again this year as well as once again winning nomination for their joint production show `One Night Only'.

When it comes to performing, it seems this talented couple have no bounds - theirs is a complete entertainment package whether it be as individuals or in one of their lavish stage presentations.

Developing new young talent

In addition to their highly successful `One Night Only' show, Jane has produced a fantastic new production show `Teamwork' featuring eight young performers, aged from 11 to 16, in a fast moving fun-packed song and dance extravaganza which is already taking the club and corporate arenas by storm.

A singer, dancer and actress, Jane has also recently opened her own performing Arts Centre in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta to train and develop new young talent, thus the birth of `Teamwork'.

Jane has certainly come a long way since her entry into the business as a child star on Johnny Young's Young Talent Time.

The fast paced Irish wit of her husband Paul Martell has made him one of the most sought after artists on the club and corporate scene. Comedian, impressionist, compere, speaker - these are all roles Paul warms to with consummate ease. He has been voted Comedian of the Year at the `MO' Awards five times, Comedy Performer of the year in 1992 and is once again nominated in this category for 1993.

The strength of commitment and talent by Paul and Jane to achieve the best possible results in every performance, ensures this dynamic duo many more successes in the future.
