GOLD Coast Music Award judges were impressed with their sound and 12 months later Nightflight are set to take off in a big way.

The music of Nightflight covers a variety of styles from layback dinner music, funk and jazz (including original compositions) through to some of the most exciting Top 40 and rock and roll from the 60s.

The combination of years of musical experience and knowledge of audiences makes this one of the most desirable and versatile bands on the crowded musical market.

The musicians who combine to produce Nightflight's unique sound, no better illustrated than on their latest album, include Mary-Anne Sterling (lead vocals), Andrew Hobler (guitar, vocals, original compositions), and Rhett Bolton (guitar, flute, vocals).

Mary-Anne's achievements have included a No.1 single `I  am a Woman' along with an award winning clip which was shown nationally.
