AUSTRALIAN actor Patrick Ward has died, aged 69.
"Vale Patrick Ward. Rest in Peace mate," wrote Christopher Pate on FaceBook.
Born January 4, 1950 Ward was a familiar face on television screens across the nation.
One of his early roles was in Number 96 followed by guest roles in Matlock Police and Class of '74.
Ward also appeared as Nicholas Brent in the film version of Number 96 in 1974.… Members read the rest!

Popular actress loses battle with cancer

POPULAR actress and author Penne Hackforth-Jones, diagnosed with lung cancer several months ago, died on Saturday aged 63.
Born in Greenwich in the US State of Connecticut and raised in Australia, Hackforth-Jones had been a familiar face on the small screen appearing in iconic Australian television series including Bellbird, Homicide, Cash and Company, Young Ramsay, Mother and Son, All Saints, Division 4, Matlock Police, A Country Practice and Bellamy.… Members read the rest!
