Special celebration postponed

THE SPECIAL CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR TABBI FRANCIS, who passed away peacefully on the Gold Coast in February, has been postponed.

The postponement has been caused due to the current Covid-19 Coronavirus situation.

It was to have taken place at the Magpies Leagues Club on March 24.

Organisers have asked: "If you know of anyone who is NOT online could you please think to give them a phone call to let them know."

They said there will never be another Tabbi and she will not be forgotton.

"We will say a fond farewell to a unique legend when we are through this current crisis."

ALVA BANQUET DATE CHANGE

The proposed date for the 41st ALVA Banquet will now be POSTPONED.

Previously, the event was expected to be held on May 18 but due to the current Covid-19 crisis it will now be held at a later date.

ALVA president Susie Smither said: This Annual ALVA Event will go ahead, make no mistake about that, you know how we love to celebrate!

"And we will be not only be celebrating ALVA's 41st year, but also celebrating our way of life, gratefulness and continuing love and friendship of the performing arts community."
