JOIN TOP AUSSIE VOCALISTS
IN SPECIAL STAGE TRIBUTE
A STAR-STUDDED line-up of great Aussie talent will be on stage to help commemorate the 100th Anniversary year of the Australian Ladies Variety Association's (ALVA) #1 Patron, Dame Vera Lynn and the 72nd Anniversary of VP Day (Victory in the Pacific) to be held at a special luncheon in August.
Organiser Toni Stevens said the special day will give attendees an opportunity to trace the amazing career of Dame Vera Lyn.
"Through her songs, this wonderful lady kept hope in the hearts of the men and women of our Australian Armed Forces during the traumatic years of WWII. She affectionately became known as `The Forces Sweetheart'," she said.
The celebratory lunch will feature some of Australia's award winning vocalists including Toni Stevens, Lisa Crouch, Grace Rizzo, Kel Ann Brandt, Lynne Fletcher and Anne Dargie.
"There will also be personal messages from Dame Vera herself."
Toni said the fully produced concert with audio and on screen visual inclusions, together with a three course luncheon, will be an unforgettable one for all, including our seniors.
"Join us for this very special day of nostalgia at Hornsby RSL in Sydney on August 15 as we trace the amazing career of this wonderful lady who brought joy and hope to our armed forces during WWII."
All proceeds will be divided between The Cerebral Palsy Alliance of Australia and LEGACY.
Tickets at $55 each or table of 10 for $500 are available from Toste Productions. Call (02) 4970 5105 or Email: info@auntymollys.com.au
