COVID-19 PANDEMIC PUTS HOLD ON
A TRIBUTE TO ROY ORBISON TOUR
DAMIEN LEITH has been on the road celebrating the 50th anniversary of Only The Lonely with his acclaimed ROY – A Tribute To Roy Orbison plus Strings tour.
The dates kicked off in January and were set to continue through until July, taking the revered singer-songwriter around the country.
Due to the developing situation with COVID-19 and the safety restrictions for the health of all Australians, Damien is postponing all remaining tour dates.
Some dates have already been rescheduled, other dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
Ticketholders are encouraged to hold onto their tickets as these will be valid for the postponed shows.
“My favourite thing about being a musician is performing,” says Damien.
“It is for that reason that postponing shows is something I would only do in extreme situations.
"Unfortunately, with the threat that COVID-19 poses to people’s health and wellbeing, coupled with government guidelines, I have postponed my current ROY national tour.
"We have not cancelled them. Instead I have worked with the fantastic venues to secure new dates. Please hold onto your tickets and I’ll have those dates confirmed over the next few days.”
Damien says he is looking forward to heading out to those rescheduled areas when the threat of COVID-19 subsides.
“I’m sorry for every inconvenience, but when the shows do resume, we’ll return with a blast,” he says.
“I can’t wait. Look after yourselves and your families, stay safe and healthy and I’ll catch-up with you soon online.”
Ticketholders who wish to attend the rescheduled tour dates are encouraged to hold onto their tickets.
Details of the additional postponed dates will be announced shortly. Refunds can be obtained from point of purchase.
