COVID kept Human Nature EP on hold
HUMAN Nature has finally released its new EP entitled `Good Good Life' after COVID put them in a holding pattern until the good, good life had returned.
Consisting of Toby Allen, Phil Burton and brothers, Andrew and Mike Tierney, Human Nature were only able to release one single during that time called `Nobody Just Like You', but then they just had to wait.
Toby Allen said: "When we stepped into the studio to start recording for the Good Good Life EP we had no idea what the year ahead was going to have in store for us."
"We were on a roll - the songs were awesome, we were working with some incredible producers and we were singing together as well as we ever had.
"We did manage to get one single released and it was thrilling to have an original song playing on the radio again.
`Nobody Just Like You' really felt like we were back in the pop world again and we were setting ourselves up for an exciting year ahead.
"Then COVID…..," he said.
Toby said 2020 certainly didn’t pan out to be the right time to release an EP called Good Good Life, so the wait began.
But fans of the group need wait no longer to get their copies of the EP.
Good Good Life Tour
The release of the new EP has also paved the way for a new tour around Australia and the members of Human Nature could not be happier, according to Toby.
"I have never missed the stage as much as I did last year and to be back on it performing in our home country again - it has never been more welcome. It feels like the audiences are welcoming it as much as we are too.
"I have really noticed the excited looks of expectation on faces in the crowd before our shows - and the smiles of joy after we’ve spent a couple of hours singing and dancing together.
"I’m sure the past 2 years have made us all stronger in many different ways. Now that we are getting a sniff of life as we knew it, I can’t wait to get out there and celebrate with you all."
Human Nature have announced additional shows for their Good Good Life Tour in Perth (4 September, Crown Theatre), Brisbane (8 September - QPAC Concert Hall), Melbourne (11 September - Hamer Hall), and Sydney (19 September - The Star). Pre-sale tickets are available from today, 7 June, 2021.
