Singer/songwriter puts on her actor's hat
to tell grandmother's inspiring story

WHEN singer/songwriter Roz Pappalardo was challenged to put her grandmother’s story down on paper she went one step further and made it the focus of a brilliant one-woman play that is turning heads wherever it is performed.
The play received rave reviews when it was presented for a special season at JUTE Theatre in 2011 and now the gifted writer has taken it to a new level by transforming it into a live concert experience `Rosa – The Concert Version’ which will be seen `live’ at the Queensland Cabaret Festival in June.… Members read the rest!

New album sparks national tour
And interest from overseas

THE launch of `Carousel’, the latest album for the highly revered folk pop duo Women in Docs, has been so successful the talented singer/songwriters have found themselves on a national tour.

Latest release ends eight-year recording hiatus
FANS of the indie folk-pop duo Women in Docs are anxiously awaiting the February 7 release of their latest album.
After an eight-year hiatus from the recording studio the talented duo consisting of Chanel Lucas and Roz Pappalardo has returned with a host of infectious new tunes and fresh enthusiasm.

New album sparks return to the road

WOMEN in Docs fans are already booking their seats with the news the indie folk-pop band is hitting the road next month for a string of tour dates, the first in two years since its founders Chanel Lucas and Roz Pappalardo decided to take a well-earned break.
“We had been non-stop touring for over 13 years and needed a rest and to spend some time with our families,” said co-founder Chanel Lucas from her Brisbane home this week.… Members read the rest!
