Jacksons set to delight Aussie audiences

MICHAEL Jackson may have `left the room', but Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon Jackson will tour Australia in March next year with their Unity Tour, paying tribute to their late brother on stage.

A whole new generation of fans will be able to enjoy the music which took the world by storm when the Jacksons, as The Jacksons and then the Jackson Five, first kicked off their careers as early as 1964 and ultimately became one of the biggest pop music acts of the 1970s. The group was a launching pad for its two lead singers Michael and Jermaine.

The Unity Tour gives fans a rare opportunity to see the brothers in action, live on stage.

Marlon Jackson said they pay homage to their late brother with about six of his songs in their set including the emotional `Gone Too Soon' alongside pop anthems Wanna Be Startin' Something, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough and Rock With You.
He said while the brothers, including Jermaine, Tito and Jackie, still struggled with Michael's loss, the Unity Tour had been a welcome opportunity to reconnect fans with his legacy.

The Unity Tour heads to Perth Arena, March 14; Sydney Entertainment Centre, March 16; Wollongong Entertainment Centre, March 17; Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, March 19; and Brisbane Riverstage, March 24.
